An exciting 10mm scale mecha combat game focusing on fast paced combat and highly customisable combat machines, the ARMS. Command your craft in a number of brutal missions, choose your own method of victory with honours, and craft your own custom-warrior machines with dozens of parts and weapons, allowing you to dominate your opponents across the landscape of the post-exile earth.
Customisation of your ARMS is facilitated by the multi-part models, with arms, torso, legs and all weapons being easily swapped between models to allow you to create the machines of your dreams, and your opponents nightmares.
Each part has its own rules card to let you keep track of the differing attributes and traits, making reference easy in the heat of battle. There are also a number of premade ARMS designs to help inspire your own imagination. |
Gameplay is split over a number of rounds, each round split over four phases, and both players are active during all turns thanks to the system of weight based initiative, with an alternating activations based around how heavy your individual combat machines are; heavy ARMS have the advantage of an improved roster of weapons and increased health, but Lighter machines will always get the drop on them.
Movment is focused around three movement rates, Walking, Boosting and Flying. These methods of movemente have different distances, energy costs and the possibly of adding to the ARMS elevation, allowing the combat machines to change their height in 3D space during the game. Combat was designed to be as simple and easy to grasp as possible, with all attacks made using a single roll, with extra effects beign applied by weapon traits. Additional complexity can be generated by optional combat rules such as component damage. |
